Alexandra Petrie Recognized by Biology Department at Wheaton College (Ill.)

Wheaton College (Ill.) student Alexandra Petrie of Pipersville, Pa. was inducted into the Biology Department Honors Program. The award, given by the Biology Department at Wheaton College, was announced at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

Students accepted into the Biology Department's Honors Program are required to maintain a 3.5 overall grade point average in their major, take a course for honors credit, write an honors thesis and defend it before a faculty committee.

The Biology Department introduces biology majors and other students to the concepts and role of biology as an integrative science helping them to discover and interpret the characteristics of nature as part of God's creation.
