Daniel MacLachlan Honored by Wheaton College (Ill.) Biology Department

Wheaton College student Daniel MacLachlan of Fayetteville, Georgia recently received Department Honors. This award was announced by the Biology Department at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

Students accepted into the Biology Department's Honors Program are required to maintain a 3.7 grade point average in the Biology major, a 3.5 overall grade point average, and complete at least six hours of biological research credit.

The Biology Department offers a rigorous life sciences program designed to equip students for competent, effective service and stewardship. An intensive research methods course, broad curriculum in cellular, organismal, and ecosystems biology, and purposeful engagement of current issues within a Christian context prepare students for personal and professional vocation.
