Elisabeth Sorenson Receives Award from the Wheaton College (Ill.) Biblical and Theological Studies Department

Wheaton College student Elisabeth Sorenson of Glen Cove, New York was recognized with the Baker Book Award by the Biblical and Theological Studies Department. This award was presented at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

The award is presented by the Biblical and Theological Studies Department to a graduating student in that major who achieves the highest cumulative grade point average during his or her undergraduate studies.

The mission of the Department of Biblical and Theological Studies at Wheaton College is to help cultivate Christians who are biblically rooted and theologically formed. Its course offerings provide a rich range of learning opportunities in biblical archaeology, biblical studies in Old Testament and New Testament, systematic theology, historical theology, global Christianity and Christian ethics.
