Fidelia Renne Inducted into Phi Alpha Theta National Honor Society at Wheaton College (Ill.)

Wheaton College (Ill.) student Fidelia Renne of Milford Center, OH was recently inducted into the Phi Alpha Theta National Honor Society. The honor, which is presented by the History Department at Wheaton College, was announced at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

Phi Alpha Theta, the National Honor Society in History for undergraduate history majors, promotes scholarship and interest in the study of history.

The History Department at Wheaton College introduces students to the joys and challenges of studying the past so they may better understand themselves, their own cultures, and the broader world. In line with the purposes of Wheaton College and informed by the truths and values of the Christian faith, the department is committed to the study of history as a foundational liberal arts discipline, worthwhile for its own sake and as a means of preparing students for a wide range of vocational pursuits.
