Hannah Hodge Honored by Wheaton College (Ill.) Applied Health Science Department

Wheaton College student Hannah Hodge of Henderson, Kentucky was recently recognized with the Applied Health Science Critical Thinking Award by the Applied Health Science Department. This award was announced at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

This award is given to an Applied Health Science major each year who has demonstrated scholarly work and a strong potential for making a significant contribution to society through research in the area of health.

The Applied Health Science Department at Wheaton College is focused on the theoretical and applied aspects of human health sciences and how best to care for the human vessel God has created in His image. Majors enter a variety of careers, including research in human health and movement sciences, public health sectors, medicine and allied health fields, human performance, fitness and wellness, and nutrition.
