Jennifer Ruda Awarded the AAPT Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award

Wheaton College student Jennifer Ruda of Arlington Heights, Illinois, recently received the AAPT Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award. This award was announced during Wheaton College's Honors Convocation ceremony.

The AAPT award is granted by the American Association of Physics Teachers to two outstanding teaching assistants nominated by the physics department. Ruda also received the Physics Merit Scholarship. The Physics Merit scholarship is a merit-based award based on academic performance, service/involvement in the department, and a strong indication of pursuing physics after graduation.
