Kendall Jones Honored by Wheaton College (Ill.) Military Science Department

Wheaton College student Kendall Jones of Boise, Idaho, recently received the Distinguished Military Graduate award. The award is given by the Military Science Department at Wheaton College to the most outstanding of the graduating ROTC cadets in the areas of academics, leadership and service. Jones also received the George C. Marshall Leadership Award. This award is named in the honor and legacy of General of the Army George C. Marshall, who served in World War II as the Army Chief of Staff and after the war as secretary of state and secretary of defense. It is presented annually to the most outstanding senior cadets in military science studies and leadership values in each battalion at host universities or colleges. This is among the highest award an ROTC student can receive.
