Taylor Schuster Recognized by the Business and Economics Department at Wheaton College (Ill.)

Wheaton College student Taylor Schuster of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin was recently recognized with the C. William Pollard Award for Business and the Liberal Arts. This award was presented by the Business and Economics Department at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

The C. William Pollard Award for Business and the Liberal Arts is awarded to a senior who is a major in the Business and Economics Department. The recipient is selected by the department faculty and honors a student who exhibits outstanding future potential for leadership in the world of business by exemplifying during his or her studies at Wheaton College Christian maturity, academic excellence, enthusiasm for and potential for success in business, and the liberal arts ideal of breadth and depth of perspective.

The mission of the Business and Economics Department is to develop students' intellectual competence in the disciplines of business and eonomics in ways that integrate Christian values, foster Christian character, and inspire commitment to build the church and influence society worldwide. This mission occurs in a learning environment that is intellectually stimulating, honest and professional.
