Tryg Veker Recognized by Christian Formation and Ministry Department at Wheaton College (Ill.)

Wheaton College (Ill.) student Tryg Veker of Edina, Minn. was recognized with the Kanakuk Kamp Counselor Scholarship. The award, given by the Christian Formation and Ministry Department at Wheaton College, was announced at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

The scholarship is awarded to a promising youth ministry student after successful completion of a summer counselor job at Kanakuk Kamp in Branson, Mo.

The Christian Formation and Ministry Department seeks to equip academically grounded, spiritually maturing, and practically skilled ministers of the Gospel who are prepared to build up the Church universal in a rapidly changing world.
