Wheaton College (Ill.) Ashley Torok Recognized by Politics and International Relations Department

Wheaton College student Ashley Torok of San Juan Capistrano, California was recently recognized with the Doug Beers Scholarship. This award was presented by the Politics and International Relations Department at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

The Doug Beers Scholarship is awarded to a sophomore or junior student who has demonstrated an interest in politics and plans to pursue a career in public service. The student's academic performance, extra-curricular activities and off-campus experiences also play a role in the selection process.
