Wheaton College (Ill.) Cross Country Runner Hannah Roeske named Freshman and Athlete of the Year

Wheaton College cross country runner Hannah Roeske of Eleva, Wisconsin, was named Freshman of the Year and Athlete of the Year by the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW).

Roeske was the top runner at the CCIW Championship meet with a time of 22:19 on the 6K course.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
