Wheaton College (Ill.) Freshman Favor Ezewuzie Named Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Wheaton College freshman Favor Ezewuzie of Malden, Massachusetts was named Women's Track Athlete of the Week by the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW).

This is Ezewuzie's first career CCIW Track & Field Athlete of the Week selection. She recently established a new school record in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.18 seconds.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
