Wheaton College (Ill.) Student Alexandra Willig Inducted into Lambda Alpha National Honor Society

Wheaton College (Ill.) student Alexandra Willig of Bentonville, Ariz. was recently inducted into Lambda Alpha, the national honor society in anthropology. The Department of Anthropology at Wheaton College presented the honor to Willig at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

Lambda Alpha is a national honor society for the recognition and promotion of excellence in the study of anthropology. To be eligible for induction, a student must be an anthropology major who has reached junior status, including 12 hours of anthropology/sociology coursework. The student must have earned a 2.5 or higher GPA in anthropology coursework, and a 3.0 or higher overall GPA.

The Department of Anthropology at Wheaton College introduces students to insights into human behavior from a comparative, cross-cultural perspective.
