Wheaton College (Ill.) Student-Athlete Andrew Bowers Recognized by College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW)

Andrew Bowers, a member of the football team at Wheaton College (Ill.), was recognized by the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) as Second Team All-Conference during the fall 2015 semester.

Bowers, of Nashville, Tenn., is a graduate of The Ensworth School in Nashville, Tenn.

The Wheaton football team posted an 11-1 record in 2015 and won its second CCIW Championship in two years. The Thunder advanced to the second round of the 2015 NCAA Division III Football Playoffs.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III Individual National Championships all-time.
