Wheaton College (Ill.) Student-Athlete Chris Szymczak Recognized by College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin

Chris Szymczak, a member of the men's swim team at Wheaton College, was recognized by the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin as Rookie of the Year during the spring 2016 semester.

Szymczak, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, is a graduate of Southfield Christian High School.

The Wheaton College men's swim team finished third at this year's CCIW Swimming and Diving Championships.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
