Wheaton College (Ill.) Student Athlete Favor Ezewuzie Earns All-Midwest Region Honors for Indoor Track and Field

Wheaton College student Favor Ezewuzie of Malden, Massachusetts, earned Division III Women's Indoor Track and Field All-Midwest Region recognition from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Ezewuzie picked up All-Region in a pair of events. Her school-record time of 8.84-seconds in the 60-meter hurdles was the fastest in the Midwest region this year. She recorded the fifth-fastest time in the region in the 60-meter dash with a mark of 7.78-seconds that established a new school record.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
