Wheaton College (Ill.) Student-Athlete Justin Ancona Recognized by College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin

Justin Ancona, a member of the men's tennis team at Wheaton College, was recognized by the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin as CCIW Player of the Week during the spring 2016 semester.

Ancona, of Belvidere, Illinois, is a graduate of Rockford Christian High School.

The Thunder men's tennis team placed second in the 2016 CCIW Championship and finished the season with a 14-8 overall record.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
