Wheaton College (Ill.) Student-Athlete Kirsten Nitz Named CCIW Swimmer of the Week

Kirsten Nitz, a member of the women's swim team at Wheaton College (Ill.), recently earned Swimmer of the Week recognition from the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW).

Nitz is from Frankfort, Ky., where she graduated from Western Hills High School.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
