Wheaton College (Ill.) Student-Athlete Nicholas Johnson Recognized by College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin

Nicholas Johnson, a member of the baseball team at Wheaton College, was recognized by the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin as Second Team All-Conference during the spring 2016 semester.

Johnson, of Lynden, Washington, is a graduate of Phoenix Christian High School.

The Thunder baseball team completed the 2016 season with a 23-17 overall record and 10-11 record in conference play.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
