Wheaton College (Ill.) Student-Athlete Sara Magnuson Recognized by College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW)

Sara Magnuson, a member of the women's tennis team at Wheaton College (Ill.), was recognized by the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) as Academic All-Conference during the fall 2015 semester.

Magnuson, of Arlington Heights, Ill., is a graduate of Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Ill.

The Thunder women's tennis program finished second in the 2015 CCIW Championships.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III Individual National Championships all-time.
