Wheaton College (Ill.) Student-Athlete Thomas Cole Recognized by College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin

Thomas Cole, a member of the men's track and field team at Wheaton College, was recognized by the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin as CCIW Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week during the spring 2016 semester.

Cole, of Apple Valley, Minnesota, is a graduate of Eastview High School.

The Thunder men's track and field team finished fourth at the 2016 CCIW Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
