Wheaton College (Ill.) Student-Athlete Tyler Jones Recognized by College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW)

Tyler Jones, a member of the men's cross country team at Wheaton College (Ill.), was recognized by the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) as Academic All-Conference during the fall 2015 semester.

Jones, of Chatham, Ill., is a graduate of Glenwood High School in Chatham, Ill.

The Thunder men's cross country team finished third in the 2015 CCIW Championships and 11th at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional meet.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III Individual National Championships all-time.
