Wheaton College (Ill.) Student-Athlete William Van Grinsven Recognized by U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association

William Van Grinsven, a member of the men's track and field team at Wheaton College, was recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as All-Midwest Region during the spring 2016 semester.

Van Grinsven, of Franklin, Wisconsin, is a graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran High School.

The Thunder men's track and field team finished fourth at the 2016 CCIW Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
