Wheaton College (Ill.) Student Carlos Fuentez Qualifies for NCAA Wrestling National Championships

Wheaton College senior Carlos Fuentez of Lombard, Illinois, qualified for the NCAA Division III Wrestling National Championships for the third time in his career. Fuentez won the 125-pound weight class and was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler at the Upper Midwest Regional competition.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
