Wheaton College (Ill.) Student Elise Lopez Awarded Best of Show in Student Art Exhibition

Wheaton College student Elise Lopez of Chicago, Illinois was recently awarded Best of Show in the Nonword & Upward Student Juried Art Exhibition. This award was announced at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

Providing an education in visual perception, visual literacy, art appreciation, and artistic process, the Art Department at Wheaton College encourages students to make art that is culturally relevant while seeking out beauty and significance, celebrating individual uniqueness, and participating in community.
