Wheaton College (Ill.) Student Emily Blom Honored by Chemistry Department

Wheaton College student Emily Blom of Marietta, Georgia, recently received the Bernard A. Nelson Prize for Organic Chemistry. This award is presented each year to the chemistry major who excelled in Organic Chemistry. It is in memory of Dr. Bernard A. Nelson who faithfully taught Organic Chemistry at Wheaton for 40 years.

This honor was announced by the Chemistry Department at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation ceremony.
