Wheaton College (Ill.) Student Hannah Roeske Named Indoor Track and Field All-American

Wheaton College student Hannah Roeske of Eleva, Wisconsin, received NCAA Division III All-America honors at the 2018 Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Roeske set a new school record in the women's 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:44.34. The freshman finished eighth in the 17-woman field. She also earned All-America honors for her performance as a member of the women's distance medley relay team, which finished eighth in the 12-team field with a time of 11:51.92.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
