Wheaton College (Ill.) Student Kalei Hosaka Recognized by Health Professions Program

Wheaton College student Kalei Hosaka of Kaneohe, Hawaii was recently recognized with the The Great Physician Scholarship. This award was presented by the Health Professions Program at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

The Great Physician Scholarship is for sophomore, junior and senior pre-medical students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Applicants must submit a resume along with an essay describing why they are pursuing a medical degree and how they will incorporate their faith into the practice of medicine.

The Pre-Health Professions Department at Wheaton College provides resources for pre-health professions students to guide their formation and preparation and to enhance their pre-professional development.
