Wheaton College (Ill.) Student Katie McDaniels Named to D3hoops.com Team of the Week

Wheaton College basketball player Katie McDaniels of Shoreview, Minnesota was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for the opening series of games in the 2016-2017 season. McDaniels averaged 22.0 points per game in the first four games of the season, helping lead Wheaton to a 3-1 record.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
