Wheaton College (Ill.) Student Leanne Miller Recognized by Mathematics and Computer Science Department

Wheaton College student Leanne Miller was recently recognized with the Award for Excellence in Computer Science. The Mathematics and Computer Science Department presented this award at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

The Award for Excellence in Computer Science is given to a graduating senior who has demonstrated superior ability in computer science, promise for advanced work in the science of computing, and distinguished undergraduate service to the computer science program.

The Wheaton College Department of Mathematics and Computer Science guides students through an interdisciplinary approach to critical thinking, logic, and creative problem solving skills. Students and faculty interact with physical and biological scientists, geologists and social scientists as well as other disciplines at the intellectual crossroads of Wheaton's curriculum.
