Wheaton College (Ill.) Student Matthew Steiner Named to All-Conference Men's Tennis Team

Wheaton College tennis player Matthew Steiner of Fort Wayne, Indiana was recognized as Second Team All-Conference by the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW).

This year's All-Conference accolade is the second-consecutive Second Team All-CCIW recognition for Steiner. He compiled a 15-5 record in singles play this year at No. 3 singles, including a 6-0 record in conference matches.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
