Wheaton College (Ill.) Student Michael McCraith Named Pitcher of the Week for the Second Time

Wheaton College sophomore Michael McCraith of Evans, Georgia was named Pitcher of the Week by the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) for the second time this season.

McCraith has compiled a 9-1 record this season, establishing Wheaton's new single-season record for victories. The sophomore's nine victories this year ranks eighth among all Division III pitchers.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
