Wheaton College (Ill.) Student Natasha Brown Named to All-Midwest Region Women's Track and Field Team

Wheaton College track and field athlete Natasha Brown of Aurora, Illinois, was named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Midwest Region Women's Team. To be named All-Region, an athlete must either be ranked in the top-five of an individual event in the region according to final TFRRS data or be part of a top-three relay team.

Brown was a member of the 4X400-meter relay team that picked up All-Midwest Region honors. The time of 3:48.12 posted by the foursome at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier ranked first in the Midwest Region this year.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
