Wheaton College (Ill.) Student Rachel Reamer Recognized by Health Professions Program

Wheaton College student Rachel Reamer of New Castle, Pennsylvania was recently recognized with the Sugarbaker Endowed Scholarship. This award was presented by the Health Professions Program at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

The Sugarbaker Endowed Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship for sophomore pre-medical students who plan to apply to allopathic medical schools.

Reamer also received the Health Scholars Scholarship. The Health Scholars Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship for pre-health professions students who intend to return to the greater Wheaton area to practice healthcare professionally or work in the medical field with the underserved domestically or internationally.

The Pre-Health Professions Department at Wheaton College provides resources for pre-health professions students to guide their formation and preparation and to enhance their pre-professional development.
