Wheaton College (Ill.) Student Sarah DeGeus Inducted into Theta Alpha Kappa National Honor Society

Wheaton College student Sarah DeGeus of Reno, Nevada was recently inducted into the Theta Alpha Kappa National Honor Society for Religious Studies and Theology. This honor was announced by the Biblical and Theological Studies Department at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

Theta Alpha Kappa is the only national honor society dedicated to recognizing academic exellence in baccalaureate and post-baccalaureate students and in scholars in the fields of religious studies and theology.

The mission of the Department of Biblical and Theological Studies at Wheaton College is to help cultivate Christians who are biblically rooted and theologically formed. Its course offerings provide a rich range of learning opportunities in biblical archaeology, biblical studies in Old Testament and New Testament, systematic theology, historical theology, global Christianity and Christian ethics.
