Wheaton College (Ill.) Student Spencer Hills Recognized by Physics Department

Wheaton College student Spencer Hills was recently recognized with the AAPT Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award. This award was presented at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

The AAPT award is granted by the American Association of Physics Teachers to an outstanding teaching assistant nominated by the department.

Through a combination of rigorous coursework, hands-on laboratory training, and research experience, the Physics Department at Wheaton College prepares students for going on to graduate school, physics teaching, industrial careers, and a variety of other jobs that take advantage of the analytical and problem solving abilities of physicists.
