Wheaton College (Ill.) Student Tabitha Evans Earns All-American Recognition

Wheaton College senior Tabitha Evans of Danville, Kentucky, closed out her collegiate track and field career in the Divison III finals of the 400-meter hurdles by earning All-American recognition.

Evans posted a time of 1:01.38 in the event to establish a new school record in the event for the third-consecutive race. Evans placed sixth in the nine-woman field, earning All-America recognition for the first time in her career.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
