Wheaton College (Ill.) Student Tryg Veker Honored by Christian Formation and Ministry Department

Wheaton College student Tryg Veker of Edina, Minnesota was recently recognized with the Kanakuk Kamp Counselor Scholarship. The award was presented by the Christian Formation and Ministry Department at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

The scholarship is awarded to a promising youth ministry student after successful completion of a summer counselor job at Kanakuk Kamp.

The Christian Formation and Ministry Department seeks to equip academically grounded, spiritually maturing, and practically skilled ministers of the gospel who are prepared to build up the Church universal in a rapidly changing world.
