Wheaton College (Ill.) Swim Team Competes at NCAA Championships

Erin Bagley, a member of the Wheaton College swim team, competed in this year's NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships.

The Thunder men's and women's swim teams competed in 28 events at the Championships. The Thunder women earned a 10th place team finish with 124 team points, their first top ten team finish since 2013 and highest point value since 2003. The Thunder men finished in 18th place with 55.5 team points, their highest team total since 2006.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
