Wheaton College Student-Athlete Carlos Fuentez Named Wrestler of the Week

Wheaton College student Carlos Fuentez of Lombard, Illinois, was named Wrestler of the Week by the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin.

This the third career selection as the CCIW Wrestler of the Week for Fuentez, who is ranked eighth in Division III by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA). Fuentez has posted a 13-1 record this season for the Wheaton Thunder.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
