Wheaton College Student Justin Ancona a Member of Conference Championship Tennis Team

Wheaton College student Justin Ancona of Belvidere, Illinois is a member of the men's tennis team that recently won the 2017 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Championship Match.

This is Wheaton's first CCIW Men's Tennis Championship since 2012 and the 25th CCIW Championship in program history, the most by any men's tennis program in conference history. The victory also earned the team an automatic bid to the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championship.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
