Wheaton College Student Madison Peebles Named a Division III All-American

Wheaton College junior Madison Peebles of Fishers, Indiana, was named a Third Team Division III All-American by United Soccer Coaches. She is the 20th individual from the Wheaton women's soccer program to earn All-America recognition.

The Thunder midfielder was recently honored as the 2017 CCIW Player of the Year and earned a First Team All-CCIW selection. A three-time All-CCIW honoree, Peebles' selection marked the the 21st time a Thunder player was named the CCIW's Player of the Year.

In three seasons at Wheaton, Peebles has tallied 11 goals and six assists for 28 total points. She has appeared in 66 games in her tenure with the Thunder.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
