Wheaton College Tennis Player Justin Ancona Earns All-America Honors

Wheaton College student Justin Ancona of Belvidere, Illinois, earned All-America honors at the NCAA Divison III Men's Tennis Championship.

Justin Ancona and Matthew Steiner competed in the doubles tournament of the event, where they reached the quarterfinal round. Ancona and Steiner concluded their season with a 24-4 record in doubles play. Ancona also competed in the singles tournament for the second consecutive year. He closed out his singles season with a 20-5 record.

Wheaton College sponsors 21 varsity sports, and Thunder teams compete at the NCAA Division III level. The Thunder Athletics program has won five NCAA Division III Championships since 1984, and Wheaton student-athletes have won 31 Division III individual National Championships all-time.
