Zachary Erwin Receives Art Award at Wheaton College (Ill.)

Wheaton College (Ill.) student Zachary Erwin of Louisville, Ky. was recently recognized with a First Place Award in the "NonWord & Upward" student juried art exhibition. The award, given by the Art Department at Wheaton College, was announced at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

The award is given to an undergraduate student for work completed during the last two years.

Providing an education in visual perception, visual literacy, art appreciation, and artistic process, the Art Department at Wheaton College encourages students to make art that is culturally relevant while seeking out beauty and significance, celebrating individual uniqueness, and participating in community.
